“VAGON TRANS LOGISTIC” Ltd. is a licensed company founded in 2015 with a main subject of activity – purchase and sale, and repair of freight wagons and spare parts, related to the rail transport. The company has a Certificate for freight wagon maintenance function issued by the Executive Agency “Railway Administration”, also using a Quality Management System according to ISO 9001: 2015. VTL Ltd., also offers intermediation for the purchase of freight wagons. The main activities of “VAGON TRANS LOGISTIC” Ltd. are carried out in a wagon repair workshop located in Targovishte. The company’s business is divided into three directions:
- The first and main direction is selling of freight wagons after partial repairs, as well as various types of upgrades and modernisation, performed by a team of experienced and qualified specialists. The wagon repair workshop is equipped with all the required machinery, which guarantees the quality of the production.
- The second direction is intermediary activity in relation to purchase of freight wagons.
- The third direction is selling of revised spare parts for the railway stock, which at the customer’s request can be sandblasted and painted. The company has the required devices for performing ultrasonic and magnetic defectoscopy, hydraulic press for verification of the bogie springs, stand for repairs and revision of SAB regulator, as well as specialised stand for testing of the draw hook and screw coupler.
“VAGON TRANS LOGISTIC” Ltd. has its own specialized “RAFAMET” banding lathe for reprofiling of wheelsets on the rolling circle. The banding lathe is installed in the town of Pleven. Its monthly capacity is 200 wheelsets. The threated wheelsets are subjected to ultrasonic and magnetic defectoscopy performed by experienced specialists.
